January 2027 - 2nd Semester of 26/27 SY - Teacher (Independent Study/Homeschool) must reside in ALAMEDA / CONTRA COSTA county

Job Summary

We are seeking a Teacher (Independent Study/Homeschool) for Valley View Charter Prep to start January 2027. This teacher will be supporting students in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. This role supports student success by delivering standards-aligned instruction using school- and state- approved curriculum, monitoring progress toward learning goals and California Standards, and supporting each student’s academic and social-emotional needs.
Please note: Candidates must reside in Alameda or Contra Costa County.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Possess and maintain valid California Teaching Credential for level of instruction
• English Learner authorization
• Experience and knowledge of the Common Core standards and standards-based curriculum, behavior management techniques, record keeping, student assessment, planning for individual student learning needs, and child development
• Able to travel with reliable transportation to various locations to accomplish objectives of this role
