Laundry Attendant

The Hilton Atlanta Northeast is looking for a full time laundry attendant to join our Crestline Family. We have a fun and family friendly work environment. To be considered for the position, you must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Scheduled hours are 8:00AM - 4:30PM during the week, and 9:00AM - 5:30PM on the weekends.

Overview:

The Laundry Attendant operates or tends to washers to wash articles, such as towels, linens, blankets, napkins, etc. for the hotel.

Potential Career Paths:

Housekeeping Supervisor – Housekeeping Manager – Operations Manager – Assistant General Manager – General Manager – Area Vice President of Operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sorts linen (terry, sheets, pillowcases). Weigh linen and load in washers.
• Load dryers.
• Know the operating function of the machines.
• Be able to maintain productivity standards on a daily basis.
• Fold linen and sheets according to proper standards.
• Place folded linen on marked shelves.

Education and Experience:

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): or Work Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required. Previous laundry experience preferred.
• Certificates & Licenses: First aid certification is preferred.
