Lead Solutions Architect (Secret cleared)
Description
The work:
As Lead Solutions Architect, you'll architect a platform that combines statistical simulation, multi-agent AI systems, and optimization modeling to help a federal agency streamline resource-allocation decisions under uncertainty - weighing operational risk against capacity constraints to recommend the best course of action.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical architecture and design decisions across a multi-engine analytics platform (statistical simulation, AI/LLM-based modeling, and linear optimization).
- Guide integration with AI infrastructure in a government cloud environment.
- Partner with client stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate mission requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to a cross-functional engineering team spanning mathematical simulation development, data engineering, and applied AI/ML within Palantir.
- Own technical risk management across the platform lifecycle, including testing standards, security posture, and performance/scalability reviews.
Here is what you need:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have an Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics or related field (or equivalent practical experience - e.g., an additional 4 years of relevant hands-on experience in lieu of a degree).
- Experience integrating multiple computational or modeling approaches into a single product.
- Experience with Python-based backend systems and cloud architecture.
- Experience with linear/mathematical optimization (e.g., linear programming, constraint-based modeling).
- Experience with multi-agent AI system design (e.g., AWS Bedrock or similar).
- Experience with statistical simulation models (discrete event simulation, monte carlo, agent-based modeling, etc.)
- Ability to work full time on-site in the DC area.
Preferred experience:
- Experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP.
- Prior experience supporting federal health, defense, or public sector clients.
- Project management experience, stakeholder engagement, or agile delivery experience
