Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is preparing to open America's Largest Indoor Waterpark in Spotsylvania County, VA, and we're hiring Lifeguards now!

If you're at least 16 years old and can swim, we'll provide the training needed to become a certified lifeguard. No previous lifeguard experience is required.

We're especially looking for candidates who are available during weekday daytime hours and can start immediately.

$1,000 Lifeguard Sign-On Bonus

Newly hired lifeguards are eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus:

• $500 after being hired and successfully passing lifeguard certification.
• $500 after completing 90 days of employment and working at least 25 shifts.

Applicants can attend one of our upcoming certification classes:

Class 1

• October 27 - October 29
• 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Class 2

• October 30: 4:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• October 31 - November 1: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Class 3

• November 3 - November 5
• 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Class 4

• November 6: 4:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• November 7 - 8: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

What You'll Do

As a Lifeguard, you'll help create a safe and enjoyable experience for guests by:

• Monitoring pools, slides, and water attractions
• Enforcing safety procedures
• Responding to emergencies and providing first aid when needed
• Assisting with waterpark opening, closing, and cleanliness procedures

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must be able to swim and successfully complete lifeguard certification
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
