Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Operations Analyst based in Canada.

The Marketing Operations Analyst will play a central role in managing and optimizing the technology that powers the marketing and revenue engine.
You will serve as a business owner and administrator of Salesforce and Pardot, while supporting a broader ecosystem of marketing and sales platforms.
Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Revenue Operations, and IT, you will translate business needs into scalable systems and processes.
You will help improve lead management, campaign measurement, data quality, attribution, and overall revenue operations performance.
The role also offers opportunities to explore AI-driven workflows, develop automation capabilities, and introduce new ways to improve operational efficiency.
As a trusted advisor and internal platform champion, you will support adoption, share best practices, and help teams make better use of their technology stack.

Accountabilities

The Marketing Operations Analyst will own and optimize key marketing systems, support cross-functional revenue processes, and provide actionable insights to improve performance. Responsibilities include:

  • Systems Ownership and Administration

    • Serve as the business owner and primary administrator of Salesforce and Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), in partnership with IT.

    • Act as the super user and internal champion for additional marketing and go-to-market platforms, such as 6sense, Sendoso, Clay, Qualified, and Salesloft.

    • Manage user access, permissions, licenses, and onboarding or offboarding for business-owned platforms.

    • Handle day-to-day configuration of fields, flows, reports, dashboards, and automation rules within established governance guidelines.

    • Partner with IT on system enhancements, integrations, and larger projects by defining business requirements, prioritizing requests, supporting testing, and driving adoption.

    • Troubleshoot synchronization errors and data discrepancies, escalating complex issues to IT or vendors when necessary.

    • Monitor vendor updates and product roadmaps, contribute to renewal discussions, and maintain system documentation.

    • Create, train, and maintain AI agents and AI skills that support the use of AI across the revenue technology stack.

    • Marketing Team Support and Insights

      • Advise marketing teams on effective system usage to support campaign execution and measurement.

      • Share performance insights, business trends, and best practices to improve campaign planning and delivery.

      • Guide campaign teams on taxonomy, naming conventions, Salesforce campaign structures, tracking, and attribution.

      • Help ensure marketing programs are measurable, compliant with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and CASL, and aligned with email deliverability and list hygiene standards.

      • Provide guidance and troubleshooting support to campaign owners while campaign design and execution remain with the relevant marketing teams.

      • Lifecycle and Revenue Process Management

        • Maintain and optimize lead scoring, routing, and lifecycle stage definitions in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations.

        • Support MQL-to-SQL handoff processes and service-level agreements (SLAs), monitoring funnel conversion and velocity.

        • Support account-based marketing, intent-driven campaigns, and engagement programs using relevant platforms across the technology stack.

        • Help define data enrichment logic, routing rules, and data-quality standards across marketing and sales systems.

        • Data Quality, Reporting, and Insights

          • Drive marketing data governance through deduplication, normalization, enrichment, and consistent field standards.

          • Build and maintain dashboards and reports covering pipeline contribution, campaign performance, funnel health, and attribution.

          • Identify emerging trends and proactively recommend process and program improvements.

          • Enablement, Best Practices, and Innovation

            • Train internal teams, create documentation and playbooks, and organize office hours for the platforms under your ownership.

            • Promote consistent system usage and encourage adoption across Marketing, Business Development, and Sales.

            • Stay informed about marketing and revenue technology trends, particularly AI-enabled capabilities.

            • Evaluate, test, and operationalize AI use cases involving enrichment, lead research, workflow automation, and predictive scoring.

            • Recommend new capabilities, technology improvements, and opportunities to rationalize the existing tool stack, supported by business cases.

            • Requirements

The ideal candidate combines hands-on marketing technology administration with analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to improving business processes. The following qualifications are expected:
