Role Overview:

We are seeking skilled Mechanics for diagnosing and repairing mobile mechanical equipment.

Objective:

Trouble shoot problems with fleet equipment to ensure they are operational with optimum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure equipment and machinery are compliant with industry standard operation for use.
• Scheduled mechanical maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using diagnostic equipment (computerized testing and calibration devices).
• Repair and replace damage or worn parts. Test mechanical products or equipment after repairs or assembly.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, generators, hydraulics, fuel and brake lines, etc.
• Engine repairs
• Read and understand operating manuals.
• Other duties as assigned relating to the job role.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Certification in Heavy equipment mechanics.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment schematics.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience.
• Proven knowledge of operation and maintenance of equipment such as loaders, excavators, forklifts, cranes and trucks
• Attention to details
• Technical and Mechanical skills
• Strength to manipulate and move heavy equipment or parts.
• Strong trouble shooting skills.
