Position Description:
The candidate will plan and teach all aspects of a middle school home economics curriculum, including cooking. Previous experience with a Family and Consumer Science-type classroom is preferred.
Anticipated Dates of Coverage:
- November 2 - December 1, 2026 (No School November 23-27, 2026)
Rate of Pay:
- Days 1-10: $150/day
- Day 11+: $241/day
Licensure:
An Illinois Substitute Teaching License is a minimum requirement.
A Professional Educator License in Family Consumer Science is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
