Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Compliance Officer

You will lead multi-state U.S. Money Transmitter License acquisition and maintenance, manage NMLS filings and regulator interactions, oversee renewals and examinations, build and operate AML/BSA controls, review product risks, manage compliance vendors, and coordinate compliance requirements across business functions.

Responsibilities

• Execute the multi-state Money Transmitter License strategy
• Lead NMLS MU1 and MU2 filings and state add-ons
• Manage deficiency responses regulator inquiries and examination readiness
• Run licensing renewals amendments reporting and roster updates
• Coordinate background checks fingerprinting and credit requirements
• Build and operate the AML/BSA program
• Manage risk assessments policies KYC KYB CIP sanctions monitoring SAR governance training testing and recordkeeping
• Own digital-asset compliance requirements including the Travel Rule
• Set and maintain KYC and transaction-monitoring thresholds and rules
• Review products and features for compliance risk before launch
• Maintain an audit-ready evidence library and investigation workflows
• Partner across business functions to embed compliance into operations
• Oversee compliance-related vendors and ongoing due diligence
• Handle ad hoc compliance needs

Requirements

• 7+ years of payments or fintech compliance experience
• Hands-on multi-state U.S. Money Transmitter License experience
• Strong AML/BSA program ownership and operational execution experience
• Ability to lead cross-functional programs
• Ability to produce regulator-ready documentation
• Strong judgment writing and execution discipline
• Experience with crypto or complex fund flows
• Experience collaborating with institutional partners
• Surety bond management experience
• Experience with a multijurisdictional company is advantageous
• Experience serving as or partnering closely with a BSA/AML Officer
• Management experience is advantageous
