National Account Manager
Description
Company Overview
The Compliance Services Organization didn't exist. We built it.
MedPro Disposal is the nation's largest privately-held medical waste company, serving 35,000+ healthcare providers across 48 states for the past 15 years. On that foundation, we launched MP1 Solutions to pioneer the Compliance Services Organization (CSO) — a new category of operating partner built to replace the fragmented vendor model that has defined healthcare compliance for decades. MP1 Solutions extends MedPro Disposal's operational infrastructure, vendor network, and customer trust into a category we're actively building — and leading — with a technology-forward approach that's making this model smarter, faster, and more scalable as we grow.
What we do: We operate as the single compliance partner for non-acute healthcare facilities — consolidating every obligation into one coordinated program, assigning one dedicated account manager as the point of accountability, and actively managing the underlying vendor ecosystem through continuous evaluation, negotiation, and optimization on the practice's behalf.
Why it matters: Regulated facilities across the country are managing compliance the same fragmented way they always have. We're changing that, backed by 15 years of MedPro Disposal's operational credibility — and we're looking for people who want to help build what comes next.
Our technology: We're actively building the AI infrastructure that sits behind this model — automating compliance tracking, surfacing risks before they become problems, and creating a system that gets smarter with every client we add. If you want to build at the intersection of compliance and technology, you're in the right place.
Our impact: Our clients never have to worry about something falling through the cracks — obligations are coordinated, tracked, and documented in one place. We audit costs, eliminate overcharges, and deliver proof of compliance that always keeps practices inspection ready. Every client has one dedicated account manager who owns their program end to end. And unlike a traditional vendor relationship, our model is designed to get better over time — continuously re-evaluated, optimized, and improved with every client we serve.
Position Overview:
The Account Manager exists to be the single point of accountability for a portfolio of MedPro's top clients — owning the relationship end to end and growing it. This role validates service and billing accuracy in each client's first 90 days, then sustains trust through proactive communication and fast issue resolution, while identifying and executing the upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities that expand account value. Success looks like a portfolio of clients who feel known, protected, and never surprised, and a growing book of business built on trust rather than churn — driving the retention and revenue expansion that fuel MP1 Solutions' growth without compromising the client experience that sets us apart.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end relationship and day-to-day management of an assigned portfolio within MedPro's client base, delivering high-touch, personalized service
- Lead 90-day onboarding validation for new accounts — verifying signed services, confirming billing accuracy, and validating key contacts (onsite, billing, and compliance)
- Monitor and resolve client service issues promptly, serving as the dedicated liaison for existing service needs so that no concern goes unaddressed
- Drive client retention and CSAT by regularly engaging decision-makers, soliciting feedback, analyzing trends, and executing improvement initiatives
- Analyze existing client accounts to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and develop and execute targeted growth strategies across the assigned portfolio
- Present tailored solutions and proposals to expand service offerings within existing accounts, and negotiate contract renewals and upgrades to maximize account value
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, and Compliance teams, and introduce clients to the MedPro client journey and support structure — including the dedicated Customer Manager and the Support/Task Support System
- Track and report on growth metrics, pipeline development, retention, and revenue expansion against goals, surfacing service or process improvements from client feedback and market insights
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of B2B sales, client success, or account management experience
- Industry background: B2B sales, client success, or account management, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets through existing account expansion; healthcare or multi-location services background is a strong plus
- Technical skills: Strong analytical skills, comfortable navigating CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Outreach and using sales analytics tools to identify growth opportunities
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree
Nice-to-Have (Optional)
- Background in healthcare, compliance, or multi-location services, or other regulated industries
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record growing accounts, engaging confidently with senior decision-makers, and negotiating contract renewals and upgrades
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $60,000–$70,000
- Total Compensation at Plan (OTE): $80,000–$135,000, including uncapped commission above plan
- Career Growth: Clear advancement pathways, mentorship, and ongoing training
- Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family
- Work-Life Balance: Generous PTO, paid holidays, and a collaborative, high-energy culture
- Meaningful Impact: Help healthcare providers improve compliance and focus on patient care
