Noon Duty Supervisor (Safety Monitor) - Montessori Charter School (27-01)

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Principal, supervises and directs groups of children in various locations at the school site.

Note: Assignments are split shifts. Typical shifts are 7:15 am - 8:15 am, 8:45 am - 10:00 am, and 10:50 am - 12:50 pm . Shifts are offered based upon the school's needs and employee availability.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of
• School rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Ability to
• Work independently.
• Follow directions and instructions.
• Work cooperatively with students, coworkers, teachers, and administrators.
• Be firm but fair in enforcing rules.
• Listen, speak and communicate effectively.
• Have good judgment in matters of safety.
• Work with children in groups or individually.

Experience with children
Philosophy consistent with Montessori curriculum
