Onsite Support Engineer (Ghent)

We are currently looking for an Onsite Support Engineer to provide hands-on IT support in a dynamic client environment in Ghent, Belgium.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide first and second level onsite IT support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests
- Support user onboarding, equipment setup, and standard workplace technologies
- Document activities and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Work closely with internal IT teams and stakeholders
- Take ownership of issues and support changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Provide professional and customer-focused support to end users
- Contribute to continuous service improvement
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or Onsite Support
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments and standard workplace technologies
- Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues
- Genuine interest in developing within an onsite IT support role
- Fluent English required; Dutch, Flemish, or French is a strong advantage
- Flexibility to occasionally support outside standard working hours if needed
- Experience in regulated environments such as GxP is a plus
- Ability to provide a clean criminal record extract (not older than 3 months)
