Operations - Batch Plant Operator

We are seeking a Batch Plant Operator for County Prestress in Roberts, Wisconsin

Job Duties:

Ensures machine is kept clean and well maintained at all times
Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting the machine as needed
Work closely with Plant Supervisor making sure that all concrete batches produced in alinement with the production schedule.
General understanding of manufacturing processes
Good math skills - Attention to detail

Work Environment:

Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures
Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards
Work in confined spaces
Work in a noisy environment

Physical Requirements:

Sitting
Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds
Standing / Walking / Climbing
Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending
Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder

Experience & Qualifications:

Ability and willingness to learn and be trained
Safety minded when performing tasks
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to operate forklift or other mobile equipment preferred, not required.
Experience in the construction and/or building materials industry preferred, not required.
Occasional heavy lifting may be required
Mechanically inclined and ability to stand for the entire shift
