Chemicals Global is a growing US-based B2B distributor of industrial chemicals, food-grade lubricants, sanitation products, and food ingredients.

We are looking for a highly proactive, results-driven Operations Manager to take ownership of daily operations, lead our team, and ensure flawless execution across the business.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes initiative, solves problems, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.

What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days

Purchasing and logistics run end to end under your ownership, and nothing falls through the cracks.
QuickBooks is clean, reconciled, and reliable.
Our order-to-delivery process is documented as a working SOP.
The team comes to you for operational decisions, not to the founder.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Procurement: Source suppliers, negotiate competitive pricing, manage RFQs, issue purchase orders, secure product availability, and identify alternative suppliers.
Logistics & Fulfillment: Coordinate domestic and international freight, track shipments, control costs, and ensure timely deliveries.
Team Leadership & Accountability: Supervise daily activities, establish priorities, enforce deadlines, and proactively follow up until every task is completed.
Operational Oversight: Ensure quotations, customer orders, purchasing, inventory, invoicing, AP/AR, and QuickBooks records are properly managed by the responsible team members.
AI & Automation: Leverage ChatGPT, HubSpot, Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, and automation tools to streamline processes, improve productivity, and implement efficient workflows.
Process Improvement: Develop SOPs, dashboards, KPIs, and operational controls to support business growth.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in B2B purchasing, procurement, operations, or supply chain.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and hold people accountable.
Strong supplier sourcing, negotiation, and logistics coordination skills.
Advanced English, written and spoken (required).
Experience with CRM/ERP systems, Microsoft 365, and AI productivity tools.
Exceptional organization, problem-solving, urgency, and follow-through.
Full-time availability and exclusive dedication during US Eastern Time business hours.

Highly Preferred

Experience purchasing industrial chemicals, food ingredients, or raw materials.
Knowledge of imports, exports, customs, Incoterms, and Hazmat/DOT requirements.
Hands-on experience building AI workflow automations.
