Paraeducator I - Teacher (After School Program) Extended Day - Children's Annex Roving

Job Summary

The San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for a Paraeducator I - Teacher for the After School Program:

1 position Roving - 8 hours per day - 7am to 8:30am and 11:30am to 6pm, M,T,W,Th,F

Under general supervision, to plan and implement learning and enrichment experiences for elementary age children in an extended day and vacation program; to provide for the physical care and safety of children; to exercise lead supervision over assigned assistants; to maintain official documents and records; and to perform related work as assigned.

**Possession of a valid California Driver’s License
**Possession of a valid Children’s Center Permit issued by the State of California; or possession of a current and valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with appropriate age level endorsement issued by CDS National Credentialing Program.
**Possession of valid First Aid and CPR certification

* reading, math & writing test required ; unless waived based on prior education and/or experience.
