QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School transcript, DD214, or GED.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The following duties are representative of performance expectations. A reasonable accommodation may be made to enable a qualified individual with a disability to perform essential functions.
· Assist teacher in the management of student arrival and departure activities.
· Assist with the individual goals of students.
· Support learning experiences that will assist student academic success.
· Assist in the supervision of the students.
· Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
· Maintain safety and welfare of students.
· Provide one-to-one assistance with academic and/or daily activities.
· Assist in student personal hygiene (may include changing diapers, assist in feeding, dressing or bathroom functions, cleaning face/hands).
· Assist in lifting/transferring.
· Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend/kneel while completing responsibilities listed previously.
· Other duties as assigned.
THIS POSITION IS FULL-TIME, PERMANENT.
