# PHP Developer ## Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled **PHP Developer** with proven experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development and extensive experience with Pimcore, Symfony, and various front-end technologies. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining robust web applications that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to our organization's success. ## Responsibilities - Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Pimcore. - Utilize Symfony components to enhance application architecture and performance. - Manage and optimize databases using MySQL or MariaDB. - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Implement best practices in web development, including security, performance, and accessibility. - Integrate third-party services and APIs, including RESTful APIs and SOAP. - Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and reviews. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with attention to detail. ## Qualifications - Proven experience in PHP development (7+ years). - Strong experience with Pimcore, including its PIM, CMS, DAM, and eCommerce capabilities. - Familiarity with Symfony and its components. - Knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB for database management. - Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js). - Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. - Strong understanding of web development best practices, including security, performance, and accessibility. - Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and integrating third-party services. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with Vue.js or React.js for front-end development. - Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. - Experience with Docker and containerization technologies. - Understanding of SEO best practices. - Familiarity with automated testing tools. ## Experience - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in PHP development. ## Environment - The location and work type (remote, in-office, hybrid) are not specified.
