- Full-time physiatry position in a fantastic community near Chicago
- Lutheran General Hospital is a 651-bed Level I community hospital, Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital is a 293-bed Level 1 trauma center – both are dedicated to providing comprehensive care for the communities it serves.
- You’ll work with a collegial, collaborative team of seven experienced physiatrists committed to helping a diverse patient population restore function.
- This role is primarily inpatient, with opportunities to expand outpatient services and participate in the amputee clinic.
- Opportunities are available to perform EMGs, Botox injections, joint injections, and ultrasound-guided procedures.
- The inpatient service Monday through Friday; dedicated inpatient staff includes five APCs, along with experienced therapy teams.
- Outpatient clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The outpatient clinic has four exam rooms, a procedure room, and dedicated office space, with support from skilled APC’s and other office staff.
- You’ll cover your own patients during the work week, with calls triaged through an answering service; weekend call is approximately 1:5 weekends with shared holiday coverage.
