| JOB SUMMARY | Duties The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of the Acetylene Plant from production and distribution to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Work every day in a way that actively supports and accomplishes the Values, Mission, and Vision of Western International Gas Cylinders, Inc.
| Essential Functions | • Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity • Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations • Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions • Ability to manage safety programs that help ensure the protection of employees and public. Recognize, correct and/or report unsafe conditions • Understand and follow established product quality procedures and guidelines to insure customers are receiving expected quality and purity of product • Recognize that each task can be amended and refined for the betterment of the employee and/or company and work toward that improvement • Provide training and educational materials to staff as necessary • Achieve a level of knowledge to assure obtaining the highest level of productivity and quality • Understanding of Human Resources principles of hiring, reviewing, terminating, promoting, directing, supervising, and motivating plant personnel • Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff • Repair or replace plant equipment as needed
