Platform Product Manager - Healthcare SaaS

Discussion

Description

At Quest Analytics®, we build technology that helps health plans navigate some of the most complex challenges in healthcare. We’re searching for a Platform Product Manager to own the shared capabilities our product teams build on.

You’ll own the “what and why” for those capabilities, then bring Engineering, Architecture, Data, Regulatory, Legal, Client Services, and Finance together to deliver measurable results. What you build carries into the next product and the next market we enter, allowing us to deliver more efficiently.

The person we’re searching for is curious and self-directed, and thinks in terms of the client journey. You’ll own a capability from the first problem through adoption, learning how health plans work so what we build fits into payer workflows and changes how clients use Quest Analytics®. Healthcare experience is preferred, and we welcome candidates from other domains who bring strong communication, sharp curiosity, and a record of picking up a new industry quickly. You’ll talk comfortably with engineers, lead with a recommendation, bring a bias for action, and own results and misses alike.

What You'll Do:

  • Set the vision, roadmap, and requirements for shared platform capabilities across their full lifecycle, from the first problem through adoption, building for reuse across products and new markets.
  • Become a SME on how health plans operate and translate that into capabilities that fit payer workflows.
  • Prioritize platform work by weighing the needs of internal product teams, clients, and company strategy.
  • Define the API contracts, data models, and lifecycle policies behind shared capabilities.
  • Lead architecture and design discussions with engineers.
  • Keep an integrated plan, risk log, and decision record, and drive cross-team deliverables to completion with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Regulatory, Legal, Client Services, and Finance.
  • Brief executives and stakeholders across the business with consistent updates and recommendations.
  • Meet contractual, regulatory, privacy, and security requirements, including protecting Protected Health Information (PHI) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Use AI and other emerging technologies in your daily work to move faster and innovate, while keeping sound judgment, data integrity, and compliance standards.

What You'll Need:

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience in a SaaS environment, with strong experience taking product capabilities through development and into market.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Strong Product Management fundamentals, including discovery, prioritization, requirements development, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, data modeling, governance, metadata, and data quality
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or comparable)
  • Ability to follow and contribute to architecture discussions with engineers
  • A proven system for tracking plans, risks, and dependencies across teams
  • Experience on Agile, Scrum, Lean, or DevOps teams
  • Experience partnering closely with Engineering and technical teams.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI/LLM tools and an interest in continually finding better ways to apply emerging technology.
