Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plant Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant systems and heavy equipment.

This role is critical to keeping the facility running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience and can respond quickly to breakdowns while performing preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMs) on plant equipment

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment and components

• Respond to emergency service calls and system failures

• Repair and maintain equipment including:

  • Balers

  • Conveyor systems

  • Hydraulic power packs

  • Electrical motors

  • Gearboxes, pulleys, shafts & bearings

  • Optical sorters & diverters

  • Compressors & pumps

  • Trash compactors

  • Forklifts & front-end loaders

  • Building systems

• Maintain Daily Equipment Inspection (DEI) backlog

• Inspect quality of third-party repairs

• Recommend improvements to increase equipment performance and production efficiency

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
