Product Marketing Manager
Description
About WGSN Group
WGSN Group brings together two global intelligence businesses. WGSN is the global authority on consumer and design trend forecasting, helping brands understand what people will want next. IWSR is the global authority on beverage alcohol data and intelligence, tracking 160+ markets and trusted by the world's leading drinks companies.
About the Role
This is a new Product Marketing Manager role working across both WGSN and IWSR. You'll report to our Group Head of Product Marketing and play a central part in how we take products to market, help customers see the value of their subscription, and grow adoption and retention.
Much of the current roadmap sits with IWSR, so you'll spend a lot of time with data products. You'll need to dig into the detail with Product and data teams and come out with something simple and compelling. Because the role is new, you'll also have the chance to shape how product marketing works across the group.
What You'll Do
- Own the group product marketing calendar, aligned with the WGSN and IWSR roadmaps.
- Plan and deliver go-to-market for launches, releases and enhancements, choosing the right audience, message, channels and level of promotion.
- Develop positioning, value propositions, messaging frameworks and customer personas across both brands.
- Create sales presentations, battlecards, FAQs and campaign assets, and work with Commercial and Sales Enablement so they can sell with confidence.
- Communicate the roadmap to customers so they see the ongoing value of their subscription.
- Use customer feedback and usage data to find barriers to adoption and fix them, including managing the WGSN Knowledge Centre and publishing IWSR reports for clients.
- Measure what works and keep improving it.
What We're Looking For
- Strong B2B product marketing experience, with launches across multiple products or markets.
- A track record of making complex or technical products simple.
- Experience building positioning, value propositions, messaging and personas.
- The confidence to challenge constructively across teams and levels of seniority.
- The ability to own a plan with little guidance, manage several priorities at once and stay accurate.
- Commercial awareness and a clear view of how product marketing drives acquisition, adoption and retention.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data, market intelligence, research or SaaS subscription products.
- Experience as a founding or first product marketer.
Experience
You'll be an experienced product marketer, probably working as a Product Marketing Manager, Senior PMM or PMM Lead today.
