Program Supervisor (3815)

Position Summary:

Under general direction from the Executive Director of Youth Guidance Greater Pittsburgh, the Program Supervisor is responsible for providing direct supervision, feedback, and support to 5-7 Direct Service Program Staff.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with the Program Replication Specialists to coordinate, implement, and evaluate all program activities and outcomes.
• Recommends hiring, transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions, terminations, and other performance management decisions for direct service program staff.
• Manages performance by evaluating and developing direct service program staff to support effective curriculum implementation and professional growth.
• Collaborates with direct service program staff and the Executive Director to recruit youth, build relationships with school administrators, and administration, manage the annual program budget, and more.
• Collaborates with Executive Director to promote all supplementary curriculum activities to program participants.
• Maintains focus on the achievement of key program outcomes and ensures all programs are on track for desired metrics, including goals for student performance, retention, and satisfaction.
• Administers the program by assessing needs, making assignments, and managing programs at multiple sites where the program operates.
• Accountable for meeting specific deliverables for all contracts related to identified program areas.
• Responsible for quality and quantity of work to ensure contract deliverables.
• Serves as the primary contact for ongoing communication with school personnel, social service agencies, community groups, and public officials about program goals and objectives. Ensures that all program documentation, records, and required stakeholder reports are completed on time.
• Provides or arranges ongoing weekly supervision to provide specific guidance in the areas of professional responsibilities, prioritization, time and resource allocation
• Occasional travel may be required.
