Manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Monitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Insures the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

As a Production Operations manager within the Advanced Programs Production Operations organization, you will be responsible for all aspects of Production Operations for the PAC-3 Adapted Capability Effector (PAC-3 ACE) program. The Advanced Programs Production Operations team is responsible for delivering affordable and scalable manufacturing solutions that enable rapid fielding, rapid prototyping, and transition of advanced air and missile defense systems. |
Basic Qualifications
- A broad base of knowledge regarding electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production
- Previous operations leadership experience in a production environment required
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including to non-technical personnel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence
- Ability to obtain a "Secret" security clearance
