Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager

You will lead the purchasing and supply chain scope for the site. You will define purchasing strategy, manage supplier relationships and contracts, oversee procurement processes, lead the team, manage operational issues, monitor performance and budgets, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental and labour requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define purchasing and supply strategy.
• Ensure resources and processes meet objectives and compliance requirements.
• Monitor contracts, improvement plans, disputes and supplier performance.
• Manage the purchasing and supply process, including consultation, negotiation, supplier selection and contracting.
• Lead supplier relationships.
• Manage and develop the team and its resources, skills and qualifications.
• Resolve operational issues and decide actions to maintain the plan.
• Apply quality, safety, environmental, energy, nuclear-safety and labour rules.
• Maintain dashboards and activity reporting.
• Manage budget lines for assigned activities.
• Represent the site with external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Higher education degree in supply chain, purchasing or management.
• 5 to 10 years of purchasing and supply chain management experience in a demanding industrial environment.
• Knowledge of industrial performance, cost control and safety standards.
