Quality Assurance Specialist (52614)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Person in this position will be responsible for assisting the Contract Compliance Manager in the performance of all listed QA duties. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Audits all active participant files to ensure all files are complete according to WestCare guidelines.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of participant files.
• Attend staff meetings, training and in-service as assigned by supervisor and/or as required by the agency.
• Monitor the systems, procedures, and standards of the programs, informing the appropriate party when deviations occur.
• Develop concise and timely reports, as necessary.
• Ensure acquisition of necessary and accurate documentation prior to entering information into the data system.
• Managing the scheduling of all site visits for CBPs and annual quality assurance reviews and participant file reviews
• Follow up that providers are properly documenting the services for which they are billing WestCare.
• Must Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation; and
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
