About this role
We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to work at the intersection of AI research, software engineering, and real-world optimisation. You will help advance the capabilities of our AI discovery engine, develop agentic systems, and apply our technology to challenging problems.
You will:
Research and implement techniques to improve the reasoning, planning, and problem-solving capabilities of AI agents, including post-training approaches.
Design and build agentic systems that collaborate to solve complex optimisation problems.
Develop evaluation frameworks and run experiments to improve system capabilities and efficiency.
Build prototypes, tools, and integrations to apply our technology to real-world challenges.
Collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and external partners to turn promising ideas into practical solutions.
Qualifications
Strong programming skills in Python, with experience building complex software systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid foundation in algorithms and software engineering.
Familiarity with machine learning concepts, language models, and modern AI frameworks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Experience with LLM post-training, reinforcement learning, or fine-tuning.
Experience with agentic systems, planning, or reasoning frameworks.
Background in algorithms, mathematical optimisation, or machine learning.
Experience with GPU programming, distributed systems, or performance optimisation.
