Sales Development Representative

Respond: Answer inbound calls, emails and web enquiries quickly, and qualify each lead.

Prospect: Research and build target lists of general contractors, property managers and facility owners in our markets.

Reach out: Run multi-touch outreach by phone, email and LinkedIn.

Qualify and book: Understand each prospect's needs (inspections, installation, repairs, maintenance) and book meetings and site visits for Sales and Estimators.

Track: Log every activity in the CRM and keep the pipeline clean and current.

Report: Share a short weekly report on activity, pipeline and next steps.

How You Will Be Measured

Lead response time, daily calls and emails, qualified meetings booked, meeting-to-proposal conversion, closed sales, and CRM accuracy. You and your manager set the targets together in your first month.

Who You Will Work With

You work closely with the Business Development and Sales team and leadership, and with Estimators, Operations, Marketing, and Process Development and HR.

Experience: At least 2 years in sales development, inside sales, lead generation or telesales, ideally B2B with US or Canadian clients.

Communication: Excellent spoken and written English, and confidence on the phone.

Drive: Comfortable with cold calling, resilient with rejection, organised and target-driven.

Tools: Hands-on experience with a CRM (such as Zoho CRM, HubSpot or Salesforce).

Availability: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Chicago time, and you enjoy learning new tools quickly.

Pay: Base fee plus 5% commission on every closed sale, as an independent contractor.

Paid time off: 10 days in your first year, 12 days in years 1 to 3, and 15 days after 3 years.

Payment: Paid in USD every two weeks through Wise.

Growth: Training on fire protection and sales, sales tools paid by the company, and a clear path to Account Executive.
