Technatomy is seeking an SAP ATTP Solution Architect to design the Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP) solution for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) pharmacy traceability project. You define how SAP manages package identity, supplier evidence, receiving, and disposition. Working with functional, development, partner, and integration teams, you guide configuration and supported extensions that can be maintained throughout operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assess installed SAP ATTP, Traceability Hub, Fiori, database, and interface capabilities; confirm licensed options and development, test, UAT, and production environments before selecting reuse or extensions.
• Define SAP ownership of package events, aggregation relationships, receipt references, holds, and disposition decisions, including permitted state changes and supporting audit evidence.
• Design EPCIS inbound processing, Verification Router Service (VRS) exchanges, and SAP interfaces supporting Azure and Dynamics 365 SCM.
• Guide mappings for product, location, serial, lot, and logistics-unit identifiers and the treatment of corrections and duplicates.
• Review functional designs for receiving, verification, holds, investigations, and traceability reporting.
• Lead SAP design reviews, record rationale and platform dependencies, and support performance, security, integration, and acceptance testing against approved requirements.
• Provide architecture and functional guidance during sustainment, including change impact analysis and resolution of complex traceability issues.
• Guide prototypes for receipt matching, package hierarchy, exception handling, and evidence retrieval, and use results to resolve standard configuration versus supported extension decisions.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in enterprise application delivery, including SAP solution design or architecture.
• Experience designing or implementing SAP ATTP solutions for pharmaceutical serialization or traceability.
• Experience assessing and improving existing SAP ATTP implementations, including diagnosing configuration and integration failures and developing a prioritized remediation plan.
• Strong understanding of EPCIS events, serialized package identity, aggregation relationships, and external system integration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP object mappings, configuration decisions, and supported extension designs.
• Experience evaluating interface behavior, data quality, exception processing, and corrective transactions.
• Ability to lead technical design reviews and communicate SAP architecture decisions across functional and engineering teams.
• Ability to evaluate SAP object mappings and transaction behavior under duplicate, corrected, delayed, or incomplete events and guide a supportable resolution.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
• Experience with SAP Traceability Hub and pharmaceutical verification or partner exchange services.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and ABAP extension patterns, transport management, and interface monitoring across separated SAP environments.
• Experience with DSCSA-related implementations or regulated pharmaceutical traceability.
• Prior experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other Federal agency applications or projects.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
CLEARANCE:
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
WORK LOCATION:
