SAP FICO Functional Consultant

We're seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support a public sector SAP environment. This role focuses on SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling configuration, financial process support, audit compliance, and configuration management activities across the SAP system landscape.

What We're Looking For

• 4-5+ years of SAP FI/CO experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments
• Strong experience with:
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Asset Accounting (AA)
  • Cost Centers
  • Internal Orders
  • Profit Centers
• Experience translating financial business requirements into functional designs and SAP configuration solutions
• Experience supporting SAP FI/CO configuration and baseline control activities across the system lifecycle
• Ability to perform:
  • Configuration Changes
  • Impact Analysis
  • Issue Resolution
  • Change Documentation
• Experience supporting Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and managing configuration-related documentation
• Ability to maintain configuration control records, process documentation, and technical documentation
• Experience collaborating with:
  • Finance Teams
  • ABAP Developers
  • Security Teams
  • Business Stakeholders
• Experience troubleshooting:
  • Posting Errors
  • Reconciliation Issues
  • Financial Control Issues
• Experience supporting internal and external audits while ensuring compliance and system integrity
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience

• Public sector financial management experience
• Experience with:
  • Funds Management (FM)
  • Budgetary Accounting
  • Government Financial Processes
• SAP S/4HANA experience
• Agile certification from:
  • Scrum Alliance
  • SAFe
• Experience supporting federal, state, or public sector organizations

Travel / Location

• Hybrid work environment
• Position can be based in:
  • Columbus, Ohio
  • Battle Creek, Michigan
• On-site Tuesday through Thursday

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Neptune Beach, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
