School Nurse - Substitute

Job Summary

1. Acceptable clerical skills in filing, typing and general office organization.
2. Ability to function within legal and ethical constraints of position; trustworthy and
confidential.
3. Ability to establish and maintain rapport with children and adults.
4. Possession of valid California Drivers License.
5. Willingness to work independently and as member of a team.
6. Must provide own transportation if required to work at more than one school site.

This is for on call as needed, day to day substitute positions. The pay rate increases to $220/day after you have worked onsite for 31+ days in a school year

Requirements / Qualifications

This position is a substitute position

1. School Nurse Services Credential
2. Completion of First Aid Training and current CPR Certification (trainer status a plus)
3. Demonstrated experience and/or training in nurse position
