About the Role
Join a small, fast-moving team developing real-time electronic control systems for hypersonic flight vehicles. You will own flight-critical hardware from initial design through validation and integration.
What You'll Do
Design control electronics boards, including motor controllers, actuator drivers, and feedback and control loops.
Own hardware end to end, from PCB design and bring-up through debugging, integration, and production.
Develop microcontroller, microprocessor, and mixed-signal circuits for processing and real-time control.
Work closely with guidance, navigation, and control, avionics, and flight software teams on system integration.
Define requirements and make technical decisions across the hardware lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
Three to 15 years of experience designing control or power electronics hardware, including motor drivers or actuator controllers.
A bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Hands-on experience designing, bringing up, and debugging control or power electronics PCB assemblies, including analog or mixed-signal circuits.
PCB schematic capture and layout experience; Altium is preferred.
Familiarity with relevant tools and technologies such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, ARM microcontrollers, CAN, DDR, FPGA, and embedded C.
Experience in a startup or other fast-paced hardware environment, with background in aerospace, defense, automotive, or other high-reliability systems.
