Senior Data & AI Solution Engineer

The Senior Data & AI Solution Engineer is a senior technical role responsible for designing, engineering, and delivering scalable enterprise Data & AI solutions that enable business transformation, data-driven decision making, and operational excellence.

This role partners closely with business, product, architecture, and technology teams to translate complex business requirements into production-ready Data & AI solutions. The engineer provides hands-on technical leadership across the solution lifecycle, including architecture, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI, semantic models, ontologies, digital twins, and agentic AI solutions.

The role ensures solutions are scalable, reusable, secure, governed, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and technology standards, while driving measurable business outcomes through modern Data & AI capabilities.

• Design and implement end-to-end enterprise Data & AI solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise technology standards.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs, data products, AI applications, and implementation roadmaps.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, from concept and proof of value through production deployment and operationalization.
• Design scalable and reusable data products, data pipelines, semantic models, ontologies, APIs, digital twins, and AI-powered applications.
• Engineer and integrate AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, RAG, and agentic AI solutions into enterprise business processes and applications.
• Develop and apply technical patterns and engineering best practices for data ingestion, transformation, integration, analytics, AI/ML, and application development.
• Ensure solutions incorporate appropriate data governance, security, privacy, metadata, lineage, access controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform technical and solution design reviews to ensure scalability, reliability, maintainability, performance, and adherence to enterprise standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, automate processes, reduce technical complexity, optimize cost, and increase reuse of Data & AI capabilities.
• Evaluate emerging Data & AI technologies and develop prototypes or proof-of-value solutions to assess business and technical applicability.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across data pipelines, analytical solutions, AI models, cloud platforms, and enterprise integrations.
• Partner with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, data scientists, software engineers, and data engineers to successfully deliver enterprise solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Data & AI engineers and other technical team members, promoting engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and adoption of best practices.
• Contribute to reusable architecture patterns, engineering standards, reference implementations, and common Data & AI capabilities across regional and global teams.
• Communicate technical designs, trade-offs, risks, dependencies, and recommendations clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
