Senior Data Governance Specialist

About the Role

Are you a data governance professional who thrives in complex transformation environments and knows how to turn governance frameworks into practical, measurable results? We're seeking a Senior Data Governance Specialist to support a large-scale transformation program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, business glossaries, data lineage documentation, and governance controls.
• Embed data governance standards and frameworks into transformation initiatives and target operating models.
• Partner with business stakeholders, data engineering, information security, and data privacy teams to drive consistent governance practices.
• Ensure project teams align with established data standards and governance requirements.
• Support the transition of project-level governance processes into ongoing business-as-usual operations.

Requirements:

• Strong experience delivering data governance within large-scale transformation programs.
• Practical knowledge of data governance frameworks, such as DAMA and DCAM.
• Experience developing governance deliverables and embedding standards across business and technology teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, independent judgment, and the ability to navigate shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
