# Senior DevOps Engineer ## Company Overview *Company details not specified.* ## Job Summary We are looking for an experienced **DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer** with **6+ years** of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing infrastructure on **AWS Cloud**. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AWS services, Kubernetes, EKS, Terraform, and the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK). ## Responsibilities - Design and implement **scalable**, **reliable**, and **secure cloud infrastructure** using AWS services. - Develop **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using **Terraform** and **AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)**. - Manage and orchestrate **containerized applications** using **Kubernetes** and **Amazon EKS**. - Implement and maintain **Lambda functions** and **serverless architecture** where appropriate. - Monitor and optimize **cloud resources** for performance and cost. - Collaborate with development teams to integrate **DevOps best practices** into the software lifecycle. - Ensure **security**, **compliance**, and **governance** of cloud environments. ## Qualifications - **Technical Skills**: - AWS Services: **Amazon EC2**, **AWS Lambda**, **Amazon EKS**, **IAM**, **VPC**, **S3**, **CloudWatch** - Infrastructure as Code: **Terraform**, **AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)** - Containerization & Orchestration: **Docker**, **Kubernetes**, **Amazon EKS** - CI/CD Tools: **Jenkins**, **GitHub Actions**, or similar (good to have) - Scripting: **Python**, **Shell** (basic proficiency preferred) - **Soft Skills**: - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot **complex systems**. - Good communication skills and ability to work in a **collaborative**, **remote team environment**. - **Educational Qualifications**: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with other cloud providers (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. - Familiarity with monitoring tools like **Prometheus** or **Grafana**. ## Experience - A minimum of **6+ years** of relevant experience in DevOps and cloud engineering. ## Environment - Preference for candidates located in **Pune**, with flexibility for candidates from **Pan-India** (excluding **Hyderabad & Andhra Pradesh**). - Full-time position possibly involving remote work. ##
