Description
You will own FPGA designs from microarchitecture through lab-based silicon validation. You will design, implement, test, release, and support networking and digital logic functions for FPGA and ASIC targets. You will build FPGA prototypes, bring up systems combining FPGA, firmware, and software, and analyze trade-offs across cost, power, performance, and features.
Responsibilities
- Create and release FPGA designs through microarchitecture, RTL design, physical implementation, timing closure, simulation, and lab-based silicon validation
- Define, design, implement, test, release, and support networking functions for FPGA and ASIC targets
- Partner with software, verification, and system architecture stakeholders to implement digital logic functions
- Build FPGA prototypes to validate architectural and design alternatives before silicon commitment
- Bring up and test systems combining FPGA, firmware, and software
- Drive trade-off analysis across cost, size, power, performance, and features
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
