Senior Full Stack Developer

At Convene Hospitality, we develop technology that makes hotel operations and the guest journey simpler. Our solutions include self-service check-in kiosks and digital guest experiences used by hotels internationally.

As our new Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll join our development team and help us continue developing our hospitality platform.

The role

You'll work hands-on across the full technology stack, from frontend applications and Android-based kiosks to backend services, APIs and integrations. As a senior developer, you'll have the experience and confidence to take technical ownership, contribute to architectural decisions and be a trusted technical sparring partner for the team.

You'll join a close-knit team that values collaboration, open dialogue and healthy technical discussions. The role is based in Oslo, and you'll spend most of your time working alongside the team at the office.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain applications using TypeScript, React, React Native and Node.js
• Build APIs and integrations with hotel management systems, payment providers and other technology partners
• Contribute to architecture, technical decisions and the continued development of the platform
• Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews and contribute to good engineering practices
• Work closely with product and commercial teams to turn needs and ideas into practical technical solutions

This could be a good fit if you...

• Have solid professional experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
• Have worked extensively with React and Node.js
• Have experience with React Native, preferably for Android
• Have experience designing, building and consuming REST APIs
• Have worked with MongoDB or similar database technologies
• Understand software architecture and modern development practices
• Are comfortable working independently, making technical decisions and being someone other developers can turn to for guidance
• Are curious about AI and see it as a natural part of how software development is evolving. You don't need to be an AI expert, but you should be open to exploring and using new tools.

It's a plus if you...

• Have worked with software connected to physical hardware or external devices
• Have experience with payment systems, third-party integrations or cloud infrastructure
• Have experience from hospitality, retail or other transaction-intensive environments

You don't need to tick every box. Solid development experience, good technical judgement and a willingness to keep learning are more important.
