Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, develop, and support infrastructure automation solutions that enable consistent, scalable, and secure cloud platform deployments. This role leverages Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation frameworks, and cloud engineering best practices to improve operational efficiency, deployment reliability, platform governance, and service delivery across enterprise environments.

Work schedule: 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM ET / 11 AM- 7 PM (CEST).

Please note that working from the office 3 days per week is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Bicep, ARM Templates, Terraform, and related automation technologies
• Develop automation workflows that improve infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and operational support processes
• Implement cloud deployment standards, naming conventions, and governance controls across Azure environments
• Automate platform provisioning, monitoring, reporting, and operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Logic Apps, and related technologies
• Support development and infrastructure teams by enabling automated deployment and release processes through Azure DevOps and automation frameworks
• Maintain source-controlled infrastructure repositories and ensure adherence to deployment and configuration management standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve Infrastructure as Code deployment failures, automation issues, and platform configuration problems
• Evaluate emerging automation technologies and recommend improvements that enhance engineering efficiency, scalability, and operational reliability
• Collaborate with cloud, security, infrastructure, and architecture teams to implement secure and standardized platform solutions
• Document automation solutions, deployment procedures, architectural standards, and operational support processes
• Analyze deployment performance and operational metrics to identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement
• Contribute to cloud platform modernization initiatives, migration efforts, and engineering best practice development

Requirements

• 7+ years of infrastructure, cloud engineering, automation, or platform engineering experience
• Expertise in administering and deploying Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure solutions within enterprise environments
• Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, storage, monitoring, and platform services
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code methodologies and tools, including Terraform, Bicep, and Azure ARM Templates, along with JSON-based deployment frameworks
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation scripting
• Background in developing and supporting Azure Logic Apps and automation workflows
• Experience supporting Azure DevOps pipelines, deployment automation, source control, and release-management practices
• Experience implementing automated deployment solutions and CI/CD integration for infrastructure delivery
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and collaborative development practices
• Experience implementing infrastructure standards, cloud governance controls, and deployment best practices
• Understanding of operational resiliency, infrastructure security, and change management processes
• Experience troubleshooting deployment failures and performing root cause analysis across cloud environments
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

• Experience with Azure private endpoint and private DNS configurations
• Experience implementing Azure governance frameworks, policies, and management groups
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
• Microsoft Azure certifications
• Terraform, DevOps, or automation-related certifications
