Technatomy is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to coordinate delivery and release readiness for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) pharmacy traceability project. You turn milestones into executable plans, track dependencies across technical teams, and organize evidence for releases and deployment waves. Working with the Program Manager and workstream leads, you keep commitments achievable and progress visible.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain the integrated project schedule, milestone dependencies, delivery commitments, and action tracking across workstreams.

• Organize release readiness and go/no-go reviews covering test results, security actions, required approvals, support documentation, cutover steps, and rollback readiness; record decisions and follow-up actions.
• Track site readiness and deployment wave dependencies, including access, configuration, devices, training, and local coordination.
• Manage delivery risks and issues, identify schedule impacts, and escalate decisions requiring program or customer direction.
• Maintain clear status reports, decision records, meeting actions, and deliverable acceptance tracking.
• Coordinate transition to service operations, confirm agreed handoff and stabilization exit criteria, and assign owners for open delivery items and known issues.
• Develop recovery plans for delayed access, interfaces, or site readiness, and re-sequence dependent activities with workstream leads while maintaining milestone visibility.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in IT project management or enterprise application delivery.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise application implementations involving SAP and/or Dynamics 365, integrated platforms, subcontractors, and customer stakeholders, with accountability for schedule, resources, and delivery outcomes.
• Ability to build and maintain integrated schedules, identify critical dependencies, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Experience coordinating software releases, readiness reviews, or deployment activities.
• Working knowledge of Agile delivery and the relationship between sprint work, testing, milestones, and release controls.
• Strong facilitation, status reporting, issue management, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to assess critical-path impacts, reconcile conflicting workstream plans, and maintain a reliable forecast of release and deployment readiness.

• Prior experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other Federal agency applications or projects.
• Experience coordinating enterprise application rollouts across multiple sites.
