Senior Manager Data Science

This role involves individual contributions as well as managing and coordinating a team of Data Scientists to drive business solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the Data Science team, coaching and supporting their development to establish a well-balanced internal and external resource team.

• Build analytical capabilities through individual contributions and coaching within a Product-Based Organization.

• Ensure effective allocation of resources for prioritized analytics projects adhering to agile principles.

• Managing budgeting, governance, and processes effectively.

• Stay updated with industry standards, integrating new technologies, algorithms, and frameworks.

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science with a proven record of leading Data Science teams.

• Proficiency with AWS stack, LLMs, and Agentic Frameworks, such as LangChain.

• Experience in MLOps, specifically in deploying and maintaining production models, AWS SageMaker knowledge is a plus.

• Understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and compliance issues.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and hypothesis-driven approaches.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with strong presentation skills.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of advanced data analytics techniques and tools.

• Experience with big data technologies.
