We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to support a complex network infrastructure assessment, optimization, and migration initiative within a large-scale enterprise banking environment. This role emphasizes the need for strong analytical skills, proficiency in enterprise networking, and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities

Core duties include the assessment of existing network infrastructure and support for network segmentation initiatives.

• Perform detailed assessments of existing enterprise network infrastructure.

• Analyze current network topology and traffic segmentation.

• Identify infrastructure dependencies and network performance bottlenecks.

• Review connectivity across servers and applications.

• Assess NIC ports and overall network capacity.

• Analyze Data and Management network traffic flows.

• Support the separation of Data and Management traffic.

• Design and document the target network architecture.

• Develop technical migration approaches.

• Provide hands-on support during migration processes.

Key Requirements

• Strong professional experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure engineering.

• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and switching.

• Hands-on experience with VLAN configuration and network segmentation.

• Solid understanding of physical and logical network architecture.

• Proven experience supporting network infrastructure migrations.

• Ability to analyze complex network topologies.

• Experience troubleshooting network-related issues.

• Understanding of Data and Management network separation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Very good English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in banking or financial services.

• Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper networking technologies.

• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.

• Knowledge of backup and replication traffic patterns.

• Understanding of network security and access control principles.

• Experience preparing technical migration plans.
