Description

About the Role

Join a Series B education technology company building consumer learning experiences for students. You will shape polished, AI-native product experiences and help establish a high bar for design craft across the product.

What You'll Do

  • Own product areas from early concepts and prototypes through research, collaboration with engineering, and launch.

  • Improve the visual quality and usability of student-facing experiences, including thoughtful motion and interaction design.

  • Build and evolve a design system that helps teams deliver consistent, high-quality interfaces.

  • Develop AI-assisted design workflows and explore AI-native product experiences.

  • Use rapid prototyping and experimentation to make progress in a fast-moving environment.

  • Share feedback and help guide more junior designers as the team grows.

What We're Looking For

  • Several years of product design experience, with the ability to mentor or guide junior colleagues.

  • A portfolio showing polished visual craft and shipped work for consumer products, ideally student-facing or designed for teenage users.

  • Experience taking product designs from prototyping and research through delivery, with a focus on shipping and improving user outcomes.

  • Experience using AI tools to support design work and product development.

  • Experience scaling quality through code-first design systems or AI-powered design reviews.

  • Strong product judgment, clear communication, and comfort working collaboratively in a fast-paced startup.

  • Ability and willingness to work on-site in Berlin. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

On-site in Berlin, Germany. This role is not remote.
