Senior Product Engineer (Full-stack with TypeScript)
Description
CouponFollow's mission is to help consumers save money while they shop online, and we do that for millions of shoppers every month. We're hiring a Senior Product Engineer to help build what comes next, starting in the Cently browser extension and expanding into new shopping products from there.
The Role
Product Engineers at CouponFollow own what they build, from the first conversation about the problem to the results after launch. In this role, you'll lead a strategic initiative to build the next generation of our shopping products, which help consumers track deals and price changes so they can act on them. You'll shape the work with business stakeholders, then drive it to completion with the engineering teams involved and the broader engineering organization.
We're an AI-first engineering team, and AI is part of how we build software at every stage. You'll decide where it helps, review and validate what it produces, and stand behind everything that goes to production. You'll also help shape how we build and run products as AI changes the work.
What You'll Own
The problem and the scope. Work with stakeholders to understand user needs, test assumptions, set priorities and agree on how success is measured.
The experience. Define user flows and design interfaces, take an idea to something people can use.
The architecture and the code, across client applications, backend services and integrations.
Delivery. Break broad goals into stages, identify dependencies and risks, guide other engineers, and keep everyone informed about progress and trade-offs.
Production. Quality, security, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, rollout and reliability.
What comes next. Use telemetry, user feedback, and business results to decide what to improve.
What We Offer:
B2B contract with a U.S.-based company
Remote-first work environment
Flexible working hours
Hourly rate: $40-50 (Compensation paid in USD, with a fixed exchange rate of 1 USD = 4 PLN)
10 days (80 hours) of paid Recharge Days per year (after 6 months)
Annual bonus (min. 5% of yearly earnings)
$1,000 annual learning budget + paid learning time (up to 3h/week)
MyBenefit cafeteria program
Fully funded offsites
All necessary equipment and software & AI licenses provided
Real ownership and impact
Modern stack, no legacy baggage
Space to experiment and innovate
A culture that’s still startup-like: fast, pragmatic, and low on bureaucracy
What We're Looking For
Must Have
End-to-end ownership. You've led a substantial product or initiative spanning client applications and backend services, from an ambiguous start through launch and later improvements, as the sole engineer or in a small team. You can explain the decisions you made and the results they produced.
Consumer product experience. You've built consumer-facing products and used analytics, experiments and user feedback to guide them.
Product judgment. You turn broad business needs into a practical plan, clarify requirements before building, question assumptions and scope work by expected value and effort.
Strong hands-on TypeScript. You design, build and maintain production applications across frontend and backend.
Technical leadership. You've made architecture decisions and guided other engineers while staying hands-on.
Engineering fundamentals. System design, security, automated testing, CI/CD, observability and running production systems on a major cloud platform. We run on Microsoft Azure; experience with AWS or GCP carries over.
AI-assisted development. AI is part of your daily workflow, and you take responsibility for the correctness, security and maintainability of what it produces.
Nice to Have
You've shipped a browser extension.
You've led initiatives that needed several teams to deliver.
Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
An entrepreneurial streak: side projects, startup experience, or ideas you've taken from nothing to launch.
About CouponFollow

We still work like a startup: fast, pragmatic and low on bureaucracy.
If you want to lead substantial initiatives, stay hands-on and own products from the first idea to real results, we'd love to hear from you.

- Tell us about a product or substantial feature you personally owned from an unclear idea through launch and later improvements. What problem did it solve, what did you own versus others, and what changed for users or the business? Include results where available; approximate figures are fine.
- Using that project or another recent example, describe your hands-on TypeScript work across the frontend and backend. Explain one important architecture decision, the tradeoff involved, and how you kept the product reliable in production.
- Describe a time when user feedback, analytics, or an experiment changed what you planned to build. What evidence did you gather, what did you change or decide not to build, and what happened afterward?
- Give a specific example of how you used AI tools to deliver production software. What did you delegate to AI, how did you validate the output, and what did you need to correct or reject before shipping?
