Senior Recruitment Consultant - Private Equity CFO and Finance Leadership

Finatal
is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to specialise in c-suite and c-suite -1 finance appointments across private equity-backed businesses.

You'll take ownership of your own market, partnering with investors and portfolio companies to deliver high-impact executive hire while building long-term client and candidate relationships.

This is a great opportunity if you want a better platform to earn more commission, more genuine exposure to the Private Equity market and learning from 1million+ billers OR if you want to pivot your recruiting experience into Senior Finance/Private Equity markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver against your revenue target.
• Win and develop new client relationships across the private equity ecosystem.
• Recruit senior finance leaders, including CFOs, Finance Directors and their direct reports.
• Source, headhunt, interview and manage candidates through to placement.
• Provide market intelligence and strategic hiring advice to clients and candidates.
• Secure retained and exclusive search mandates.
• Build and execute a business plan to grow your desk and market presence.
• Support and mentor junior consultants while maintaining individual performance.
• Use CRM and market analytics to drive activity, opportunities and results.

About You

• Proven recruitment experience, ideally within executive search, finance or professional services but we are open if you've recruited in other sectors and want to pivot sectors.
• Highly commercial with a strong business development mindset.
• Assertive, driven and results-oriented.
• A natural networker with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, inquisitive and energised by a fast-paced environment.
• Committed to delivering exceptional standards and long-term relationships
