Technatomy is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Integration Developer to build extensions and interfaces for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) pharmacy traceability project. You implement package-event and supplier-data processing, including validation, mapping, error handling, and reconciliation. You work with SAP architects, functional leads, and integration engineers to deliver maintainable changes that preserve transaction history.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain ABAP components and supported interfaces for SAP ATTP traceability workflows.

• Implement EPCIS message parsing, validation, version adaptation, and mappings to approved SAP structures.

• Develop correlation, duplicate detection, corrective-event processing, and recoverable error handling that preserve SAP transaction integrity and original supplier evidence.

• Develop supported ABAP extensions behind approved SAP Fiori receiving, exception, disposition, and evidence-retrieval workflows, enforcing server-side site authorization and state revision checks.

• Investigate application and interface defects using code analysis, logs, and transaction data, and implement verified fixes.

• Perform unit and integration testing and support reconciliation, regression, and business acceptance testing.

• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical specifications, transport records, release notes, and deployment and troubleshooting instructions linked to assigned changes.

• Use supported SAP APIs and a project namespace, manage approved transports through development, test, UAT, and production, and expose correlation details for troubleshooting SAP-to-Azure integrations supporting Dynamics 365 SCM.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in software development or application integration, including SAP ABAP.

• Strong SAP ABAP development experience, including debugging, enhancements, and application integration.

• Experience developing or supporting SAP ATTP interfaces and processing EPCIS or pharmaceutical serialization data.

• Ability to implement structured message validation, mapping, error handling, and duplicate protection.

• Experience using supported SAP interface mechanisms and managing changes through controlled test and transport environments.

• Ability to independently diagnose complex code and data issues and validate changes through documented testing.

• Ability to reason about commit and rollback behavior, repeated requests, and change impacts across ABAP components and connected applications.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

• Experience with SAP Traceability Hub, Verification Router Service (VRS), or certified EPCIS trading-partner routes.

• Familiarity with Fiori/OData integration and SAP reporting extensions.

• Experience with regulated supply chain applications or DSCSA-related workflows.

• Prior experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other Federal agency applications or projects.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

CLEARANCE:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

WORK LOCATION:

• Remote
