Senior Software Engineer (C++) – Integration & Support

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join the Snke Anatomy Applications team and help ensure that our Digital Patient Model services are reliably integrated and operated in customer environments.
In this role, you will investigate complex technical issues, identify root causes, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver sustainable solutions. You will support customer integrations, contribute to the operation of existing products, and participate in development activities whenever support priorities allow.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze customer-reported issues in production systems, integration setups, and internal environments
• Reproduce issues, identify root causes, and provide clear technical findings to the responsible engineering teams
• Support customers with the integration of our services, APIs, and data flows
• Analyze issues in legacy products and support their continued operation
• Work with modern C++20 services and older C++ code bases for debugging and support purposes
• Communicate technical findings clearly to internal teams and customers
• Contribute to development work and product improvements when support priorities allow

We are looking for someone with professional experience in C++ software engineering and technical support or integration-focused roles. You enjoy investigating complex issues, communicating technical findings clearly, and working with both modern and legacy systems.

• Several years of professional experience in C++ software engineering
• Experience in technical support, application support, integration support, or a similar customer-facing technical role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in root cause analysis and troubleshooting
  Experience working with both modern and legacy C++ code bases
• Experience with distributed backend systems, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings clearly and concisely
• An independent and structured approach to problem-solving
• Fluent English skills
