About the Role
Join the backend team building a no-code platform that helps customers activate data directly from their warehouses. This senior, product-minded role combines distributed systems engineering with customer-focused product development.
What You'll Do
Improve warehouse query performance through optimizations such as pre-computed state and warehouse-specific improvements.
Build analytics and experimentation features that help customers create audiences, choose data to sync, and measure downstream performance.
Explore real-time audience computation and syncing as data warehouses adopt change data capture technologies.
Investigate ways generative AI can make customer data workflows more seamless.
Contribute to architecture and product specifications, and incorporate customer feedback into backend solutions.
What We're Looking For
Six or more years of backend engineering experience, including designing and building backend systems at high-growth technology companies.
Strong backend and distributed systems fundamentals, with sound judgment around scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
Experience building product-focused systems and a willingness to engage with users and act on their feedback.
Strong communication skills, curiosity, and an ability to learn quickly and take on new challenges.
A background in software engineering beyond data engineering or DevOps, with experience using modern technologies.
A degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent fundamentals.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $180,000 to $320,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
