Senior Software Engineer (Customer Vendor Management)

• We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Snapsheet’s Customer Vendor Management (CVM) team who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to create impactful solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the evolution of our industry-leading claims engine
• CVM owns how claims connect with customers, vendors, and external partners across the full claim lifecycle. In this role, you will build the customer self-service experiences that start a claim, such as online claim reporting and photo capture. You’ll also build the vendor integrations and workflows that connect carriers with repair shops, appraisers, salvage partners, and other third parties. You’ll help shape estimating, appraisal, and total loss functionality and make sure our partner ecosystem runs reliably at scale

• Designing and building APIs
• Experience with AI tools and AI-assisted software development (AI SDLC) is a plus
• Eagerness to learn from and work with a collaborative team
• Designing schemas and performant queries for relational databases
• Prior professional experience using React and/or Typescript a plus
• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field
• Understanding of scalability challenges and performance of server-side code
• Ability to manage tasks and to contribute towards multiple initiatives during a sprint
• Prior experience using Ruby on Rails a plus
• Commitment to quality and passion for technology and creating cutting-edge solutions
• 5+ years of full-stack web development experience, with particular strength in back-end development
