Compensation: $180,000 - $275,000 + significant equity

About the Company
The client is a $100M+ funded neobank transforming consumer and business finance in Mexico and Latin America, building banking, point-of-sale lending and merchant tools on top of a regulated Mexican bank license.
The Role
The client is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (4-8+ years) as one of its first engineering hires in San Francisco. You will own features end to end across greenfield products, from a merchant operating system (payroll, point of sale, inventory) to an AI-powered WhatsApp financial assistant.
What You Will Do
- Build and own full-stack features from UI to backend to deployment across banking, merchant and consumer products.
- Architect and scale services for lending, payments, pay-in/payout and ledger systems.
- Build SMB workflow tools (payroll, point of sale, inventory) integrated with a regulated bank.
- Use AI tooling to accelerate the development lifecycle on a modern TypeScript and React stack.
- Ship rapidly with product, design and a small engineering team.
What You Bring
- 4-8+ years as a full-stack engineer
- Production TypeScript, React and Node.js
- Experience with SQL databases and message queues
- Comfort owning greenfield products end to end
Nice to Have
- Payments, ledger or lending systems
- Spanish language skills
