About the role:
You will work with the team lead to shape the technical direction and delivery of products that empower artists and record labels around the world.
The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, working day to day with Product, Design and other engineers.
Start: 16 November 2026
Duration: Until June 2027

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate on the technical design and delivery of products within a cross-functional team, connecting engineering decisions to user needs and business priorities
• Design and build the UI layer of the products and the shared components behind it
• Balance scalability, reliability, security, and performance with pragmatic delivery
• Partner closely with Product and Design to understand requirements, assess trade-offs, and break complex initiatives into clear, achievable milestones
• Take part in technical design discussions and code reviews, communicating decisions clearly and building alignment within the team
• Drive improvements to testing, observability, deployment practices, and operational reliability
• Share knowledge and contribute to a collaborative culture of continuous learning and technical ownership

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Has built and maintained a design system or shared UI component library
• Knows the modern UI stack well (TypeScript, React, GraphQL) and designs components that are simple to test and hard to misuse
• Documents technical decisions, recording the reasoning, alternatives and trade-offs in an ADR or design doc
• Raises cross-team impact early, before it becomes a surprise
• Reviews code with comments that teach something, and helps newer engineers get up to speed
• Familiar with AWS cloud technologies and infrastructure as code (IaC)
