The Berlin Township School District, located in Camden County, New Jersey, is seeking qualified candidates for a full time Special Education Teacher position for a Multiple Disabilities classroom. The district is committed to excellence in education through a strong belief that each and every student can learn at high levels. The ideal candidate should possess the following:
NJ Special Education and P-3 or K-6 certification (or documented eligible for the same)
Knowledge of the NJ State Standards
Understanding of a wide range of multiple disabilities
Experience developing and working with behavior plans, positive behavior supports, data collection and data analysis preferred
Ability to work in a collaborative setting
Ability to differentiate instruction
Practical knowledge of current educational practices
